Reviews

Beorn's Hospitality is basically just Final Fantasy's Ride the Shoopuf. That's pretty good, especially since the elves deck is based around and this is a strong payoff for that. I shouldn't need to say much more than that; this is a decent card, and you should definitely put it in your landfall decks.

Beorn's Hospitality

How to draft it

Roles in each deck

  • Ferocious Wolves Sets up the plan

Each puts a +1/+1 counter on one of your creatures, so two land drops take a turn-2 Ravening Warg or Desolation Prowler to 4 power for good. It adds nothing to the battlefield the turn you cast it.

    How to play it

Cast it once you control a creature, because a land played with none out gives nothing. Hobbit Hole triggers it twice, once for itself and once for the basic it fetches. Late, makes it a Bear for Beorn the Fierce, as big as your land count.
