Reviews

Turning another creature you control into a base 4/4 for the turn isn't nothing, but it's also not something I'm willing to pay much to get. Galion, Elvenking's Butler is really held back by the fact that it's a 4/4 for 4 with no keywords to help in combat, because it just gets outclassed too easily. It's nice that any buffs you put on it also end up getting transferred to the creature it targets, but it's so weak without that that Galion doesn't inspire a lot of confidence.

How to draft it

Roles in each deck

  • Ferocious Wolves Sets up the plan

Like Ordinary Bear, this 4/4 for 4 is a 4-power creature. Each attack also makes one other creature of yours a 4/4 at base until end of turn, but with no evasion Galion gets blocked and traded off.

    How to play it

Attack and pick your smallest creature, since counters and pumps still apply on top of the new base. Nighthowl Pursuer becomes a 4/4 and then a 6/6 with , and a Rabbit with two counters becomes a 6/6.
