Reviews

Great Ugly-Looking Goblin is very weak for a , but fortunately, that's not all that relevant here. What's relevant is that its adventure spell, Clap! Snap!, is a 2-drop. This isn't just a bad 6-drop with an adventure spell attached, rather it's a reasonable 2-drop that then has a free 6-drop attached for later, which is actually a pretty good deal.

How to draft it

Roles in each deck

  • Goblin Army Sets up the plan

Clap! Snap! 2 for 2 mana, so the card plays as a that makes a 2/2 . The 6-mana 4/4 Goblin gives to each of your creatures with a +1/+1 counter , the Army always among them.

    How to play it

Clap! Snap! goes early, and with Bothersome Noisemaker out it makes a 3/3 . Hold the Goblin until the Army is big, because a large Army needs two blockers. Counters from Meager Meal or Rhovanion Rampager's attack give those creatures menace too.

  • Ferocious Wolves Early play

Clap! Snap! makes a 2/2 for 2 mana, and the 6-mana Goblin waiting in gives to each of your creatures with a +1/+1 counter . Here that includes the Rabbit, the Army and whatever Duskwatch Hunter or Meager Meal marked.

    How to play it

Spend the early as a . The Goblin comes later, on a stalled board where on a big Rabbit ends the game.
