Reviews

Part in Friendship does a lot of stuff, but it largely looks like something your opponent can avoid. I made the mistake of assuming that Thunderbolts Conspiracy might be a playable card, and this looks even worse. A 5-mana that doesn't do anything until you trigger it, and even then only does something entirely random, doesn't usually add up to a playable Limited card.

This is a weird card that likes outlets and stalled boards. Costing single makes Part in Friendship a conceivable in BR, which has lots of sacrifice synergy for it. However, being limited to nontokens hurts, and the need to trade creates problems against and (since you probably aren't winning the race after playing this). Not a useless card per se, but hard to make work.

How to draft it

Roles in each deck

  • Ferocious Wolves Gets you extra cards

Nothing happens until one of your nontoken creatures , and usually the opponent decides when that is. After that it digs out a creature card at most once each turn.

    How to play it

A stalled board where creatures trade every turn is its only good case, and even there Gathering of Darkness or Tom, Bert, and William turn dead creatures into cards and add a body of their own.
