Radagast of Rhosgobel is an interesting creature that looks like he it was made for Constructed, but it's actually really decent in Limited, too. The combination of giving and a mana discount to your first creature spell in a turn can actually allow you to get two discounts in a turn cycle by casting a creature on your turn and then again on your opponent's turn. The fact that this allows you to start double spelling is exactly what makes Radagast look like a premium green creature.

One of the better reasons to attempt a bigger green deck. This loves fatties like Boughside Wanderers and Old Fat Spider, though you'll need Crude Bent Blade protection (go-go gadget Wood Elves) to get that started.

Roles in each deck

  • Ferocious Wolves Sets up the plan

A discount and on your first creature spell each turn save little when most of your creatures cost 1 to 3, and the 2/5 does nothing on its own.

    How to play it

Play it only when your deck is short on creatures and heavy on 5- and , and never take it over a Prowler or a spell.
