Reviews
The Notary Hobbits has already generated a lot of buzz on social media as a 5-mana creature that effectively taps for 9 mana. Of course, it's fairly easy to disrupt, but that rarely matters in games of Commander. The problem for me is that once we get to 5 mana in Limited, we rarely need another 9. It does allow you to double or triple spell from the next turn onwards, and there's value in a 5-mana spell that gives you three 1/1s, but sadly we won't be able to fully utilize this in the way that Constructed decks will.
Another rare that conceivably makes sense in a bigger green deck. The Notary Hobbits also provides inherent Blade protection, but being a 5-mana 3/3 stat wise means you may just be dead before you get to use any of this mana.

Ferocious Wolves Filler
Three 1/1s for 5 mana do little in a deck that wants 4-power creatures, and the colorless mana they make has almost nothing to pay for here.
