Reviews

Given that many black decks will have amassed army and will be looking for ways or reasons to them, The Sackville-Bagginses solves both of those problems by being a one-time sacrifice enabler and a nice payoff, too. Its abilities are only minor, but it's a at the end of the day, so it's really good for its cost.

Between , Wood Elves, Stony-Voiced Goblins, and Goblin Plate Mail, The Hobbit is pretty dense on fodder. That's great news for The Sackville-Bagginses, which I'm never cutting from any black deck and happily P1P1'ing.

How to draft it

Roles in each deck

  • Goblin Army Sets up the plan

This deck's spare turn into cards and damage with it out. When it enters you may another creature or to draw a card and create a , and every token you sacrifice while it is out costs the opponent 1 life. The deck makes tokens all game: 1/1 Armies, Stone Boulders and the Treasure from Dori, Bearer of Friends.

    How to play it

A 2/2 on turn 2 is fine. Waiting a turn for a or a 1/1 to adds a card and a new Treasure. Every Treasure you spend for mana later is a sacrificed , so each one costs them 1 life, as does an Army fed to Stir Up Trouble.

  • Ferocious Wolves Gets you extra cards

    How to play it

With nothing to on turn 2 it is a plain 2/2, so holding it a turn or two is fine. Every you sacrifice after that, included, costs the opponent 1 life.
