Reviews
What makes this creature stand out to me is its incredibly high toughness. Once enabled, a creature like this might be in danger of dying in combat once you attack with it once, but Wilderland Scrounger will be a 4/7 in that combat and very hard to remove. Also, you only need to enable it once, because now it'll have the four 4 power it needs to enable itself. That all sounds very powerful to me, and this looks like a great top end for the warg decks.
Crude Bent Blade puts immense pressure on green fatties in the format, to the point that cards like Beorn, Reluctant Host and Wilderland Scrounger feel nearly unplayable.
How to draft it
Roles in each deck
Ferocious Wolves Rewards the plan
The 3/6 for 5 does nothing the turn it arrives, and the counters from its attack need a different 4-power creature already out.
How to play it
Learn the Ferocious Wolves deckLarge Bear is the better , so play Scrounger only as a when you are short of them.
Beasts and Burn Rewards the plan
Its puts a +1/+1 counter on each creature you control when it attacks, but only once another 4-power creature is out, and the 5-mana 3/6 itself hits for little.
How to play it
Learn the Beasts and Burn deckSideboard it unless you are short of playables, and attack only when it survives the combat. After one trigger it is a 4/7 and no longer needs a partner.
