Reviews
Having access to a creature with an activated ability is far from trivial, which is exactly what you need for Elrond, Moon-Reader to do something in the early game. It's nice that it can trigger itself, so you do get to at least draw a free card whenever you two things, but 7 mana is a lot to spend on that. In fact, for 7 mana, on a mythic rare card, why can't it flicker lands? You know, to trigger the elf theme of the set? Seems like a massive oversight if you ask me.
Blue has no cheap activated ability creatures for Elrond, Moon-Reader, but Woodland Weavemaster, Desolation Prowler, and Óin the Brave are amazing companions.Don't forget that the second effect says “nonland ”, so it goes off with cards like Crude Bent Blade in the late game.

Draw Two Gets you extra cards
Whenever you activate an ability of a creature, this mythic 3/3 draws a card, once a turn. This deck has almost no creatures with activated abilities: Dwarven Provisioner's pump, Elvenking's Harper, Troop of Ponies, Elrond's own 7-mana ability and Gandalf, Wandering Wizard. Too few Draw Two decks have played it to give it a win rate here.
How to play it
Learn the Draw Two deckPick 3 or 4, where drafters take it, is too early for a 3-mana 3/3 that rarely draws here. In a long game its ability exiles up to two of your other nonland and returns them at the beginning of the next end step, so Patient Instructor and Long Lake Nuisance again and Elrond draws a card because you activated it.
