Reviews
Unlike a certain other big bear, Gigantic Big Bear is missing one very important keyword that stops it from being a ridiculous in The Hobbit. Can you tell which one? Ding, ding, ding! That's right! It's missing …. A 10/7 with is still good and catches opponents off guard, but the fact that this could just be blocked by an Attercop or a Ravening Warg and not get any damage through really holds it back.
Gigantic Big Bear: that puts 10 power onto the battlefield out of nowhere, but thankfully no so you can usually chump or stack block it. Sadly a major underperformer and not a very good card.
How to draft it
Trap. It's a 7-mana 10/7 with and but no . Any 1/1 can block it, and then none of the 10 damage reaches the opponent.

Elf Landfall Finisher

Beasts and Burn Finisher
Without , its 10 power stops at one chump blocker a turn, and and don't change that. Drafters still take the 7-mana 10/7 around pick 3.

Patchwork Midrange Finisher
, and 10 power for 7 mana look unbeatable, but without any chump blocker stops it for a turn and a blocker kills it. Drafters still take it around pick 3, far earlier than its results justify.
