Reviews
I'm really not interested in a land searcher that only puts that land on top for me to draw next turn. For 2 mana, that's all we can expect, but so far I haven't seen it attached to a creature that I'd be satisfied playing. Old Thrush is no exception.
* The body here is a virtual without help. * However, cards like Crude Bent Blade, Gollum, Silent Slinker, and The Mountain-king's Return can make Old Thrushsurprisingly good! * The gap between this and average like Wargling, Goblin-town Flunkies, and Front Porch Sentries is small enough that I'll play it over those if needed. * It plays very well with The Eagles Are Coming!, since it's a cheap creature with small “enters” value that can set up for you later.

When this colorless 2-mana 1/2 enters, you gain 2 life and may put a basic land from your library on top. The body barely fights, so the cheap enter ability is the reason to play it. The Mountain-king's Return can bring it back, and with 1 power it can take Eagle's Rescue from the .
How to play it
Learn the Draw Two deckSearch only when you are short of lands, because the land on top replaces your next draw. The best line returns it with The Eagles Are Coming! for a 4/4 , then recasts it for 2 more life.
