Reviews

There are only four elves in The Hobbit with activated abilities, and only three other ones. Thranduil, the Elvenking is far from unplayable, but it was clearly designed with Commander in mind, and the three colors it costs to cast it just aren't worth stretching for given how ineffectual the payoff is.
