Edge cases: leaving and coming back

Flicker makes a new object. To flicker (or blink) a permanent is to exile it and return it to the battlefield, as Gone Fishing does.

Adventure

A permanent that changes zones becomes a new object, which the game treats as a different thing from the one that left. The creature that returns:

• has no counters, damage or "until end of turn" effects
• drops its Auras (to the graveyard) and its Equipment (stays on the battlefield, unattached)
• is untapped, out of combat and summoning sick
• triggers its "when this enters" ability again, so a flickered Dori, Bearer of Friends makes another Treasure
