Reviews

Two mana to protect a creature from a spell but do nothing else isn't really a card I'm interested in playing. However, Concerted Care comes with a 1/1 creature attached, which I think makes Bofur, Reliable Guardian a pretty good card overall. I don't know if I would run it out on turn 1 and skip over the adventure spell, but as the format develops, we'll know whether that's a good play or not.

The body on this card is deceptively useful, since you can always dump equipment onto Bofur, Reliable Guardian later. Whether you play this early for a hit or two (and Crude Bent Blade protection) or hold it to protect creatures will vary from game to game, but holding is usually best.

Bofur, Reliable Guardian: No combat stats, but total protection from /combat.
