A dwarven version of the classic Puresteel Paladin sounds really good to me. Kíli the Resourceful even draws you a card whenever you play any dwarf, which makes it a very powerful early play even if you don't have any equipment for its other abilities. This is a great card for any dwarf deck, though not a card you'd be happy to play outside of that.
mostly matters for a handful of stacked rares.Fíli the Pathfinder and Kíli the Resourceful encourage you to play a bunch of dwarves and equipment, which naturally tends to get you storied since so many of them are . The uncommon storied payoffs are mostly lacking in oomph though, as even Thorin Oakenshield is more of an annoyance than anything amazing.
Don't neglect the value of free equipment! Goblin Plate Mail in particular really appreciates Kíli the Resourceful, and the presence of “equipment creatures” like that makes it easy to hit high trigger counts.
How to draft it
Roles in each deck
Dwarves & Equipment Gets you extra cards
Kíli the Resourceful draws a card the first time each turn another Dwarf or of yours enters, and most of this deck's cards are one or the other. With an , your first equip each turn costs , which makes Goblin Plate Mail's and Ragged Short Spear's free to pay.
How to play it
Learn the Dwarves & Equipment deckAfter a turn-2 Kíli, play your Dwarves and one a turn, since a second one in the same turn draws nothing. Spend the free equip on the largest equip cost and pay for the small ones yourself. A 1/2 does nothing in combat, so keep it home.
Draw Two Early play
Kíli draws a card when another Dwarf or of yours enters, once a turn, and with an your first equip each turn costs 0. Draw Two has few of either (such as Iron Hills Blacksmith and its Axe, Dwarven Provisioner, Bofur, Fíli the Pathfinder's ), so here it is mostly a 2-mana 1/2. In Dwarves & Equipment it is a high pick (65.2%).
How to play it
Learn the Draw Two deckA few Dwarves make it a fine , and a draw from it on your turn counts like any other extra draw. Iron Hills Blacksmith brings a Dwarf and an at once, but Kíli still draws only once.
