Reviews

Two mana for 5 damage is a very good rate, even if it only targets a creature. At 5 mana, this is kind of on par with some red for the same cost, which is actually interesting. I'd rather it outright destroyed a creature, like previous versions of this effect have done, but Magnificent End is still a solid white removal spell.

White's commons are really bad in The Hobbit.Magnificent End, Dwarven Shortsword, and Esgaroth Garrison are the only white commons I'm ever happy to play (although Garrison often gets crowded out by other 5s).

Magnificent End: for 5 damage, and “” gives you a lot of leeway here. Never attack your Bothersome Noisemaker into this.

    How to play it

A creature that attacked you stays until its controller's next untap step, so you can also kill it on your own turn for and still cast a creature. attackers never tap, and paying the full 5 mana is the misplay to avoid.
