Reviews
I'm calling it right now: This is the set's mythic uncommon. I'm usually wrong this early on, but Thranduil, Sindarin Liege looks really absurd for an uncommon. A 2/3 that creates 2/2 on is incredibly powerful, and all that after you just drew (hopefully) two extra lands by casting the Silvan Rally adventure spell. This is a card that demands an answer, or it'll take over a game in just a few short turns, especially if you start to lands to get more landfall triggers.

How to draft it
Roles in each deck
Ferocious Wolves Threat
Each land you play makes a 1/1 Elf , and Thranduil's +1/+1 to your other Elves makes every token a 2/2 and Mirkwood Nurturer a 4/3 even without its counter. Silvan Rally, the 3-mana , four cards and puts up to two lands from them into your hand.
How to play it
Learn the Ferocious Wolves deckCast Silvan Rally first only when you are short on lands. Otherwise cast Thranduil before your land drop so that land makes a . A second copy is mostly a Silvan Rally, since Thranduil is .
Draw Two Threat
Each land you play brings a 2/2 Elf, because whenever a land enters under your control, this 2/3 makes a 1/1 Elf and your other Elves get +1/+1. Islands pay its , and it does about as well here as in Elf Landfall (58.7%), its intended home. Silvan Rally, the 3-mana , four and puts up to two lands from among them into your hand.
How to play it
Learn the Draw Two deckGet it out as early as you can, because each later land drop is a free 2/2. Hobbit Hole makes two , one as it enters and one for the basic it fetches. The Elf tokens are not Humans, so they don't turn on Bard's Company's or take Lake-town's counters.
Elf Landfall Rewards the plan
The deck is built around this 4-mana 2/3 uncommon. Besides the Elf , his +1/+1 reaches Mirkwood Pathmaker, Wood Elves and Thranduil's Company, and it lets Woodland Weavemaster for 2. The symbols are hybrid mana, paid with either green or blue, so any mix of Forests and Islands casts him.
How to play it
Learn the Elf Landfall deckSilvan Rally, his 3-mana , four and puts up to two lands from among them into your hand, so cast it on turn 3 when your hand is short on lands. The card then waits in , and you cast Thranduil from there on turn 4 or 5. When you can pay for him without this turn's land, cast him first and play the land after, for a right away.
Removal Control Threat
Each land that enters under your control gives you a 1/1 Elf , a 2/2 while Thranduil pumps your other Elves, so every land drop from turn 5 on adds a blocker. This deck casts him for . Silvan Rally ( here, ) four and puts up to two lands from among them into your hand to keep those drops coming.
How to play it
Learn the Removal Control deckCast Silvan Rally on turn 3, then Thranduil from on turn 4 or later. Hobbit Hole makes two Elves, one as it enters and one for the basic it fetches. Drawn late with lands already in hand, skip the and cast Thranduil before your land for the turn.
Beasts and Burn Threat
Each land you play after Thranduil makes a 1/1 Elf , and its other Elves get +1/+1, so each land adds a 2/2. Your Mirkwood Pathmaker and Mirkwood Nurturer are Elves and get the bonus too. Ferocious Wolves has few Elves and still wins 57.5% with it, so you don't need an Elf deck.
How to play it
Learn the Beasts and Burn deckStart with Silvan Rally when you can. It four cards and puts up to two lands from among them into your hand, and those lands make Elves once Thranduil is out. Play Thranduil before your land drop so that land makes a , and chump-block big attackers with the tokens.
Patchwork Midrange Threat
Each land that enters under your control adds a 2/2, because the Elf gets Thranduil's +1/+1. That needs no Elf deck around it, though Mirkwood Pathmaker and Mirkwood Nurturer are Elves that get the bonus too. Silvan Rally ( here) four cards and puts up to two lands into your hand, which feed the landfall later.
How to play it
Learn the Patchwork Midrange deckWith spare mana and few lands in hand, cast Silvan Rally on turn 3 and Thranduil from later. The lets only one Thranduil stay on the battlefield, so a second copy is a weak pick.
